You had find a new job or internship in another country? Or you partner have to move and you follow him/her? What a good experience!

It’s really exiting becoming a foreigner; you will discover news places, news people, news habits, new food, may be a different weather, language… Being an expatriate is a rewarding experience that requires adaptability. You will be confronted with a new environment, living and working like the locals and if you’re in a foreign country you are going to have to learn at least the basics of the new language to survive on a day to day basis.

Keep in mind that expat life is not easy every day; maybe you’ve bought into the idea that life in a tropical paradise is everything you’ll ever want: relaxing, rejuvenating, stress-free… But behind the easy going facade of most places, the day to day reality can be quite different. Most of the time you can replicate your current life.

Nevertheless there are more reasons to being an expat’ like broaden horizons, you boost your self-confidence and your employability, improve your life skills, self discovery, you often get a cheaper lifestyle, you’ll meet interesting people…

But, you need to plan a lot of not enjoying things but important ones. Where will you stay?  Will you check and apartment before coming or once in place? What is the money rate in this country? How many cash will I bring with me? Is my bank international? If I’m sick where will I be treating? Is there a hospital for expatriate? Are the medicines expensive? Will I find every medicine I need? Does my health insurance cover myself and my family?
